I'm German and I can't say that that's true. At least not anymore. Except for the occasional light hearted name joke they are treated like everyone else. At least that's from my experience, and I've known a couple Kevins and Justins. They always thought the jokes were funny too and went along with it.

why not, If you ask Nowadays German what is their name, Mostly their name was sounded Non-German, Like Charles , Charlotte, Etc. Hans, Gunther, Johan, Otto, Heinrich Are now becoming rare, so if you're child parents, Name your child whatever you want, but it should not weird or inhumaned, I see One of Thai Kids were named All-new or Switch kinda sad doe😭

I think this actually used to be true, there were even studies to prove this. But it's 3 decades ago, it's not an actual thing anymore, especially since the name Kevin has lost sugnificantly in popularity.
