Ingredients (Serves 4)
500g minced beef or lamb
2 tbsp oil or ghee
1 large onion (finely chopped)
2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
2 green chillies (sliced)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander (chopped)
Julienned ginger (for garnish)
Lemon wedges (optional)
🔥 Cooking Instructions
Heat oil on a tawa or skillet.
Add cumin seeds and chopped onions. Sauté until golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Cook for 1 minute.
Add chopped tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, and coriander powder. Cook until oil separates.
Add minced meat. Cook on high heat for 3–4 minutes.
Lower the heat, cover, and cook for 15–20 minutes until fully done.
Stir occasionally and dry up excess moisture on high heat.
Sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander.
Garnish with julienned ginger and serve hot with naan or paratha.
