I would make that pomodoro sauce by just mashing tomatoes and herbs but it won't taste nearly as good as a long simmered sauce made with time and love

believe me... this is absolutely all true, even the onion thing. Once a customer ordered me a full gluten free menù (from starter to the dessert), when dessert arrived she said "oh no I would like the other cake" I made clear that one wasn't gluten free... she ate 3 slices. Another one said she was allergic to pork. I found her eating salami from another customer at her table. When I said that salami is made of fkn pork she smiled and said "oh that's ok don't worry".
