@dandandoubleamput3: Trying on new prosthetics can be a lengthy process. There is lots of adjusting, checking and double checking. Its the time where you check the height, fit, foot placement and comfort ability. Its a similar process to how you used to try shoes on in Clarkes for your first pair of school shoes. Lots of walking up and down and checking them in the mirror. After having a nasty fall a couple months ago and stumps shrinking from recovery, these new prosthetics will make life much more comfortable again. I will now be able to get back to my normal activities and and be less reliant on my wheelchair. The summer can be pretty hard for an amputee, as you can imagine, it can get hot, sticky and sweaty. This is when blisters form and potential phantom pain can really kick in so by having prosthetics that fit comfortably and correctly will help with that. Time to enjoy the summer break and get prepared for my 2nd year of university 🦿✌️🦿 #fyp #doubleamputee #prostheticleg #disability #awareness #foryoupagе #summerholidays
