(If you're not a Jesus person, please scroll cuz I'm about to get some kind of spiritual. 😅💪🏼)
I have to publicly express my gratitude towards God AND my friends on Facebook for their prayer and share my situation. (Because it truly was a miracle that I was sent home and unless you where there, you really don't understand the magnitude.) Your prayers worked... Really well.
Lately I've actually been really hesitant to post on Facebook when it comes to vulnerable stuff in my life. I debated for a long time whether or not to post about being in the hospital. But I ultimately decided that asking for prayers is more important than my ego.. especially when my baby was at stake.
If you know me, then you know the absolute last place you're bound to find me is in the hospital. I was in pain for 16 hours before I allowed myself to go to the hospital.. five of those hours my husband was begging to take me in. It wasn't until I had my mom, my dad and my husband where staring at me telling me it was time to go that I finally caved. In fact, this was my very first hospital stay ever.. aside from my delivery with Sophia. I made it to 27 years old without ever breaking an arm or visiting the emergency room. Ha!
Hopefully knowing this information you will understand just how much pain I had to be in order to cave and maybe just how serious this situation was.
If you seen my previous Facebook post then you know some things, but everything that happened the morning I was discharged was nothing short of a miracle. Nobody in the room was hopeful that I was going home anytime soon, especially those who looked at the scans. They didn't just tell us that it was a possibility.. they said were likely going to have a baby soon, they said to pretty much expect it.
It was your prayers.. that's the reason why I'm home with my baby safely in my womb, because there is no truly logical reason. The nurses who saw me last night were baffled to see that I was discharged.
Right now I'm technically considered 'pre-high risk' meaning that they are just waiting for another flare-up which could happen tomorrow or next week or 3 months from now. I can still resume my life as normal and even
