I personally wouldn’t go with white hydrangeas, any other color would be better. White flowers tend to get brown faster and don’t really look great while wilting. Colorful flowers compensate the brown better. That’s my experience.

Hostas, they’re leafy plants that grow nice and wide! Lovely leafs in many different colours/variegation and they also flower! Tall colourful flowers!! Please look them up. They’re gorgeous😍

Rosemary hedge. Or look up for your local native plants for birds and bees and add a bird bath with a rock for bees to land on. 😉
