I have a “general” American accent. “R” isn’t difficult for me unless a W is involved. “World War” “Wheelbarrow” are the hardest ones. 😅

Ahh so the 1st ‘here there and everywhere’ is fairly close to Australian. When I lived in Canada I found I had to focus on adding Rs back into my accent to be understood!

Apparently how long singers draw out an R and how heavily they hit it changes depending on genres. Broadway training teaches people to use the R as a quick transition, country singers and R&B will really stretch out an R sound.
