if they ban VPNs then remote workers can't work. I use a VPN to access my works server while I'm remote as do millions of others. this will never go through.

vpn cant really be banned. You could probably ban some vpn apps/extensions from UK market. Bet i will always be able to set it up like proxy manually. They cant stop that

Fake News: There’s no law in the UK that bans VPN use. Section 122 of the Online Safety Act targets encrypted messaging, not personal VPNs. Ofcom regulates platforms, not individuals. They govern services, not users. This claim is false.
