In this episode, I made fresh peach pie!!Everything but the pie crust is homemade and made from scratch (crust is frozen and store bought) It’s simple even though it might sound complicated. Come and make it with me.  For the Peach Filling ingredients are as follows…You’ll need :   -4 cups peaches, peeled and sliced (I used 6 smallish peaches) -1 cup mashed fresh peaches (I used 3 smallish peaches) -3/4 cup water -1 cup sugar -3 tablespoons cornstarch -1/2 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon butter 🎯INSTRUCTIONS: 🎯For the crust: -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees —Put aluminum foil on the pan and set the crust on top. Puncture holes all around the crust with a metal fork. When it’s ready to start baking, put the crust in the oven and bake it for about 15 minutes or until golden brown 🎯Pie filling- -Peel and slice the peaches 4 peaches (about 4 cups) then set aside. -In a medium-sized pot, mix together the 1 cup of mashed peach and water. Cook for 4 minutes over medium heat. Add the 1 cup of sugar and 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and cook until clear. It will thicken up and be a nice thick glaze. Remove from heat and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of butter. Stir until the butter is melted and then let the mixture cool. -Arrange the sliced peaches in the bottom of the cooked and cooled pie shell. Pour the peach glaze over the top. -Chill in the refrigerator. -Serve and enjoy it!
