I really enjoyed reading the Priory before Fallen Night as it definitely added to that forgone conclusion aspect you can get with prequels since you know the ending for those characters, it was interesting knowing what happens but trying to figure out how it happens

This is my favorite series of all time, and I cannot wait for Among The Burning Flowers! I read it in publication order and for me it definitely added a level of tragic insight reading the next one that I loved experiencing. Thank you for this beautiful piece of art you’ve given us. 💖

at my bookseller job if they're scared to read the books because they feel overwhelming I sometimes recommend ADOFN first because I feel as though it made the world building a little bit more accessible. But I think the publishing order was phenomenal

Unless an author specifically says to read in a certain order (or you know it’s a numbered series like WoT or Stormlight), I read in chronological order. That way I have time with characters and get to be blissfully unaware that they’re all going to die 😂😂😂
