“He depicts satan not as the king of hell, but as its primary and first prisoner.” Showing leveled-up Viktor as the big bad guy (Satan), when really he was the mastermind and savior unbeknownst to everyone, even Viktor himself. It reminds me of the infinity stones as paperweights scene in Loki. In both Loki and Arcane, everything they did was necessary and was done for the sake of their lives, and to the viewer THAT was the story, but the paperweight scene/Viktor revealed as magician just made everything feel like an ant under a thumb, powerless to the will of who holds the true, unflaunted power.
