No way privacy all the way. I want to walk through that arch into my own little oasis. My neighbor has a garden like this and I go just to feel like I have left the area and gone to a peaceful garden

That looks like a corner lot… I’d keep the privacy hedges over removing them. Im bettinf that intersection is loud since I can hear cars driving by and the hedges were likely put there for a reason. Just a hunch though. But id still take privacy over curb appeal

I feel the hedge should stay but make the area past the hedge very inviting and nice with lighting and nice gardening, that will balance it out
