Where I’m from, we had off the first day or two of deer hunting season and all the boys were brining deer jerky for snack shortly after 🤷♀️

at the end of the day, hunting with family teaches a child more life advice and ways of survival in one trip more than school can teach in a week. im with the hunter guy. sorry not sorry.

Tell them that it's a family activity/vacation. End if discussion. People take their kids on trips and/or to see family and get excused.

Imma be honest with you I still see no problem as long as a Kid keeps his grades up and does well in school to miss a few days in fact other countries do this exact thing as long as a kid knows the material and keeps good grades it doesn’t matter does it?

It was not a hunting trip. It was a wildlife nature science trip. I'm sure the son could bring in some samples of the wildlife and talk about them a little bit 😏

With the current education system not teaching kids a whole lot, yeah that kid is going to learn a lot more from a hunting trip. Plus having survival skills for the future.

hunting teaches someone to get their own food, butcher it and cut it into different cuts. you also learn to cook it properly depending on the cut. it most definitely is a good reason as long as it's not missing to much time to learn other skills. (it also teaches responsibly and gun safety)

tbh. my mentality is, if someone shows up to my property and starts asking any questions about my kids, if they dont show id proving who they are im just going to assume a pdfile looking for a victim and not answer any questions till they provide proof and id be very vocal about what id assume them to be and why. im sorry but there have been too many cases as of late of bad folk pretending to be law/federal enforcement to do bad things and now im suspicious about that.
