South Houston Texas here.
We do a lot of 1-4 acre lots. We charge $65-105 per acre depending on how low they want it and how many obstacles we have to mow around. I'm told we are the cheapest price around town. We mow it low, slow with really sharp blades. Customers love our work.
I hope this helps!

Market is flooded with bush hogging services. Good luck, it’s a cut throat industry.

Don't know how far away you may go but would say 50 to 100 to show and 100 per acre to start. Then after you get a few under your belt you can adjust the per acre a little or change to an hourly rate.. Always a little extra if there are obstacles.

The guys running old equipment and that are retired. Charge 90 an acre, but it’s on their timeline if you need it done with a quick turnaround you pay the young bucks 130 an acre.
