The paradox of some of us men, is that we feel misunderstood but we also have the difficulty in opening up. It needs safe experiences or rupture for us to shift that. Many never got the chance growing up to give all this space

I have the best male friends from my teenage years/20s, still friends now in our late 40s. But that calibre of men is not in the current dating pool. It really is a case of the good ones are already taken. What’s left are heavily influenced by what they are consuming on social media these days. And that’s why women are staying single, & genuinely ok with that. Men can’t understand being voluntarily single, as they would never make that choice.
