My dad saved me fr. I have a 2017 Honda, but in 2023 my engine blew, I was about to sell it as is and take out a loan for a 39k Honda and my dad told me just spend 4000 on a new engine instead of being in debt for 39k. Best decision ever

A car is not an investment, it’s a depreciating asset! It took me one finance class to learn that a car loan is the worst thing you could ever do to yourself and sadly I realized that too late 😭

I still have my 2005 toyota from high school. Even tho i have other cars. I still drive my toyota everyday and drives so good with 315k miles on it 😅

I am 40 and have never had a car payment. I have always saved until I had cash for a car I wanted. I refuse to have payments! Especially nowadays, the interest is crazy😬😬😳. Good for you girl, lesson learned!

I bought a new car in 2013 and still drive it with only 117k. Try a Toyota next time. If you buy a new vehicle buy it under your business

My accord 2018 head gasket is blown and it’s been sitting for 2 years just sitting there. Luckily it’s paid off but when it happen it wasn’t and it sucked

I hear that 100% but Buying a new car isn’t always bad. I bought a brand new civic in 2016 drove it until 2021 and put 80k miles on it and sold it for 4500 less than what I paid for it. (Or effective 75 dollars/ month) Just buy cars that have the best resale value, I never had good luck with used cars IMO. I currently have a Subaru crosstrek also best in class resale value, it’s not how much the car costs initially but when you go to sell it, how much did the car end up costing you for that time.
