Grew up in spain. Everyone does it from a young age cause you spend all summer in and out of the sea and swimming pools and the inner lining chafes and rubs when it’s wet.

Just wheat speedos underneath, they are the swimming boxers. Yes, you are wearing two swiming gears at the time, inner for comfort, the outer for stile. Added benefits include insurance, if the outer suddenly fails

I get that with the inner lining, I hate the feeling too! But just invest in a bit better quality swim shorts that have a inner lining that feels like a boxer and not like this cheap net

the best swimming shorts i own has no lining at all! also, on the one i had with a cheese grater type of lining i had it removed completely

true but personally i do it now because my father was insisting so if my swimming short fall i will still have my boxer, but boxers do get ruined after a few times
