We were going for Natalie Wood, not Raquel Welch. Beautiful, not va-va-voom. Halle was already sexy; we wanted her to look like a real actress. That began the time when a dress could actually make a career." Berry would go on to win the award for Best Actress in a Miniseries or TV Movie that night and her Valentino look... well... it's well cited as a fashion turning point for the Globes.
