@khanhong: Guys. Stop. Read/ watch this. I’m obsessed with this restaurant, they serve tradition Portuguese home style dishes. The atmosphere, the flavour, the love and the aura. It’s honestly my effing favourite and I would come again and again. It’s a tiny little hole in the wall. The seats are small and cosy (they had to pull a table out so I could get to my seat, the decor is super cute. It’s really affordable and so delicious. What makes this place besides from the food is the love Maria has for her recipes, her service is next level. She just wants you to enjoy her food 😭😭😭 which isn’t difficult because it’s so tasty, so simple, so unpretentious and yet it blew my mind. Maria even swapped out my sardine dish because we order too much and replaced it with a smaller fish dish, she vetoed 1 other dish because she wanted us to try her favourites without over ordering. Little back story sorry but I must share. So there’s 4 Tu E Eu and I didn’t know which one to go to so I just picked a random one. Turns out they all belong to this beautiful woman who found herself with a massive fan base for serving authentic Portuguese food so she expanded. I really didn’t think I was going to get to meet this wonderful human but I got lucky. She was working. She’s very hands on in all aspects of her business. I’m not gonna tell you what to order, she will but if you find yourself in Lisbon please go here or one of her other restaurants all same name basically. I went to Tu E Eu 2, I don’t think you can book you just turn up. Wait. Order. Eat and pay cash. No frills. Just honest food. It was amazing. 10/10 would come back. I loved being here so much that we order all the desserts one after the other. This 100% is currently my highlight of Portugal. I’m trying to look for her insta and I don’t really know if this one’s right. But just google and head to trip advisor or something.
