I was once their supporter, but after hearing their biased reporting, I felt compelled to seek meditation for relief. These so-called journalists are profoundly unprofessional. Their sole aim seems to be manipulating their audience towards war. Every word they utter is carefully chosen to devalue others and serve their own agendas. P.Num also plays a detrimental role in this, aligning with these interests.
Regarding the Longvek era, I've already addressed this with him: Cambodia aided King Naresuan of Siam against a Burmese invasion. When Naresuan realized victory was imminent (and that defeat was certain if Burma hadn't fallen into his trap), he grew concerned about a future Khmer threat. Consequently, he actively sought a pretext to invade Cambodia first – essentially trying to 'preemptively extinguish a fire' before it could start.
Today, the Thai military employs the same underlying strategy, only with different tactics and timing. They are deliberately setting traps to embroil Cambodia in unnecessary land disputes. It's the same playbook – sowing conflict to serve their interests – just adapted to the present day.
