i found out that you can only get shingles if you've ever been infected with chickenpox. so immense stress doesn't necessarily lead to shingles unless you've had a prior encounter with chickenpox

Samee! Got shingles last year (20yrs old) I’m so stressed about my life that time, I also juggle work and school at the same time. I now used whitening soap and ointment for the scar 😊

canon event haha, got mine when i was 19yo cuz i got overwhelmed being an 18yo. now i’m 21 and i still think about that time when i saw the signs but ignored it and that made me leave school for abt a month. still thinking abt it and kinda recovering pa rin(mentally) pero hopefully may we fully heal in time 🤞🏻🤞🏻 don’t forget to eat guys, our physical health matters as much as our mental health :))

got shingles at 7th grade and it was the worst pain of my life. the doctor said, virus daw ng chicken pox yun na bumalik as shingles.

Yes, reactivation po siya ng chickenpox, pero stress can still trigger it. In my case, I was so stressed that time that it affected my immune system which caused shingles. 🥲

I got shingles last year. I was 26 yrs old. The doctor said my shingles was the result of my weakened immune system. Maybe it's my body saying I'm exhausted and stressed from work and school ☹️I still have visible scars and don't know how to get rid of it. Take care of youself fellow girliesss

i had shingles last May. Sa side ng neck sya tumubo. Since nag reretinol ako sa neck dinadamay ko ma rin yung shingles scar. So far numinipis na yung scar 😅
