so many people fail to realise cats are a domesticated species. they aren't a wild animal and do so much damage to the wildlife and are in danger no matter where you live! My girls will always be warm, safe, and happy indoors next to me.

It’s so funny how cat owners will come attack you no mattet what you do. Y’all need to realize keeping cats indoors or outdoors has no effect on them. No sane cat owner would let their cat outside if there’s a dangerous road. It’s the same with little children.

I’d love cats but the thought of anything happening to them outside always made me nervous, I had 2 when I was young and loved them, these window nets are such a great idea x

Just a kind reminder that cats are DOMESTICATED. It is not cruel to keep them indoors. You wouldn’t let your dog out and expect it to wander back. Cats need safe stimulation in enclosed outdoors spaces or with a harness. I have two incredibly happy indoor cats ❤️

I wouldn’t worry about those uneducated comments about your gorgeous cat. I’ve studied animal management, and I can tell your cat is well loved and happy! Indoor cats on average live longer and happier lives when provided the right enrichment. Your keeping your baby safe and healthy and that’s all that matters 💞

i feel like people arent seeing the main road right outside your house. as long as the cats are healthy then there's not an issue because domestic cats are meant to stay inside as they aren't protected against all diseases they could catch

Do any of you hear about people sh00ting them or them being hit by cars or attacked by dogs. The world isn’t safe for them anymore. Keeping them indoors is not a bad thing to do as long as they have the right mental stimulation.

It's so hilarious how people always go "CATS SHOULD BE ABLE TO GO WHERE THEY WANT", but don't hold the same energy for their dogs (who are also hunters), for horses, for rabbits or anything. Just because YOU guys don't know how to do indoor enrichment doesn't mean other people can't 😂 Indoor cats can be just as happy and are SAFE from traffic, from other animals, from people trying to poison them etc etc.

in my country most shelters won't let you adopt a cat if you don't have installed "mosquito nets" not sure what they're called in english and it's mandatory for anyone living in an apartment to have those in every window and balcony... the adoption will be denied if you don't have them when they check your house
