Uh... he's always a day late and a dollar short. He was scared Trump fired him so he made a tiny raise right after the tax cut in 2017. He should have raise it to 4-5% immediately. Then, he jumped the gun in 2023 and overkilled with rate hike that had no effect in curbing inflation. Now, he waited for faked job reports and very much too late to get the country out of stagflation.
