Does this mean a United States postal worker does not make enough money to send her daughters to daycare? That is the real problem here and now she’ll probably lose her job.

Those trucks do not have AC. The post office won’t let you transport live animals that come through the mail in those trucks because it gets too hot. Also there is absolutely no seat or seatbelts other than the driver’s seat. That is incredibly unsafe.

I work for the USPS as a RCA, and NO THAT IS NEVER ALLOWED! Those trucks get super hot, we’ve had carriers die because of the heat this year alone!

Poor mom is probably just trying to keep her job probably doesn’t have a sitter and I agree. I don’t think that man should’ve touched that truck. That’s literally a federal offense.

I’m not saying the mother was right, but that man should be charged with tampering with a federal vehicle… The cost of childcare on top of rent/ mortgage, groceries electric, water…. Also mail trucks drive from one mailbox to the next. How fast do you truly think she’s driving. Just sayin he has no business opening that door regardless he could have called police if he was so concerned

This story has two sides .. she was not driving around with the children .. she was outside the daycare waiting on a friend to pick up the children. She wasn’t working yet

Did the man hear children in the truck and no UPS driver in it?? He was only trying to see if they needed help? I thank him for looking out for them kids, he was just trying to help them.

They have AC up front and what is she supposed to do childcare is extremely expensive, she’s working hard AND taking care of her kids leave this mama alone.

She was set up by the baby father she wasn’t actively delivering mail her kids were just sitting there outside of the daycare until the father came she didn’t drive withthe kids inside

I would open truck if I thought kids were in truck in the heat, believe me those trucks get really hot. Also against postal rules and very dangerous for kids.

The hell that that mom must be going through trying to keep her job and care for her kids. The trucks don’t stay still long enough to cause harm, and are not enclosed enough to build up the heat. Wrong yes, but seems there’s more to the story for the mom.

I feel sad for the mom cuz she clearly doesn't have a good support system or loved ones but at same time its wrong for them kids to be in their its hot no car seat thats vehicle Is government property and if he gets sued for it can't she to cuz kids playing all up in the mail and truck so she could be looking at lawsuits from all ppl she delivers to so this not looking good

Pretty sure hauling two children around in a hot USPS mail delivery truck with or without car seats is going against policy… and definitely goes against child passenger safety laws and regulations. 🤦🏼♀️That overrides any reason the Mom has for having her children with her.

She didn’t lock them in her car. She was able to check on them often she wasn’t depending on the system. She was trying to keep her job.🙏

As much as I sympathize with the mom for being in a situation of not having any one to watch your kids, leaving them in a hot unair conditioned unlocked truck unattended is unacceptable.
