@cosmos.databanks: At least 2500 years old, the Sword of Goujian is attributed to the Yue culture of Ancient China’s Spring and Autumn period. It is made of bronze with intricate inlaid patterns, blue crystals, and turquoise, and features a silk-bound grip and a pommel of eleven concentric circles. The sword measures 55.6 x 4.6 x 0.9 cm (21.89 x 1.81 x 0.35 in) and weighs 875 g (30.86 oz). This artifact is now housed at the Hubei Provincial Museum in Wuhan, China. It was discovered in 1965 in a tomb in Jiangling County, remarkably preserved after more than two millennia underground.
