The fact that Zach Snyder has gone on the record saying krypto existed in this movie but he was a normal dog pa Kent killed off screen to teach Clark the value of life makes me wonder if he even likes superheroes

That has ALWAYS been my complaint about Man of Steel. That is a version of Kal-El. He isn’t Clark. He isn’t human. He is a somewhat benevolent alien. Even though in the newest movie we saw him dressed as Superman for the majority of the movie, he was ALWAYS Clark.

Snyder had no respect for who superman was. He honestly just made an oc and slapped supermans name and design on it. Also, much of his portrayal of superman is based on his own beliefs that essentially some humans are capable of superpassing others and becoming superior (godlike) and when you watch any dc snyder film it is obvious.
