so many people don’t realize how scary it can be to do simple things like this as an amputee. i went to the beach for the first time today since my amputation and i was so scared and nervous before. didn’t really wanna even go bc of the hassle the sand and lake water would be but it turned out fine in the end. went kayaking and walked out into the lake just fine. i might try jet skiing tomorrow if i feel brave enough
