There is absolutely zero reason not to vaccinate. Zero. It’s the scientifically sound and ONLY right decision for good parents. You did the right thing. She’s gonna be healthier for it.

My mom had me vaccinated as a baby/child. I’m 24 now and just had bloodwork done for nursing school that showed I still have strong immunity to mumps, measles, and rubella. My mama’s decision to vaccinate is still protecting me 20+ years later!

Yeah so I firmly believe if there wasn’t a huge internet antivax movement that people were PROFITING off of, we wouldn’t even be having this discussion. Vaccine reactions are so few that it’s like saying “I won’t wear my seatbelt because I know of one person who died because it was on in a crash”

My dad was an ER doctor for 40 years (now retired). So in the unlikely and extremely rare event people had adverse reactions he saw them - he to this day will say “I never met a vaccine I didn’t like.” I feel like that’s the best endorsement!

Autism is genetic, it is not caused by any post birth injury. Not even vaccine injury, which are possible but exceedingly rare. Just watch for fever and injection site swelling. But there is absolutely no reason to worry about vaccinations.

I mean, my kids are all fully vaccinated and are all almost adults and have been fine growing up. No one had any issues aside from fussiness/mild fever with any of the shots. I’m fully confident I made the right choice for my kids.

Husbands an ER doctor. He was so thankful once my son was old enough to get the MMR vaccine. You 100% did the right thing. The fear mongering is out of control, and likely from people who don’t understand the validity of a sound research study.

I was young and ill informed when I didn’t vaccinate my children until they were a little bit older. I’ve literally cried and thanked God that I was not made to pay for it. You did the right thing Mama.
