Karbala witnessed a mother who offered not one, but both of her sons in the path of truth. Aun and Muhammad fell as martyrs, and Zainab (sa) stood firm, proving that her devotion to Allah and the cause of Husayn (as) was greater than even a mother’s love for her children.💔🏴 The martyrdom of the sons of Sayyida Zainab bint Ali, Aun ibn Abdullah and Muhammad ibn Abdullah, is remembered as a powerful example of sacrifice and loyalty in Karbala.😭 On the Day of Ashura, after seeking permission from their uncle, Imam Husayn ibn Ali, the two young sons of Zainab (sa) entered the battlefield one after the other. Raised in the house of faith and courage, they fought bravely in defense of the Imam’s cause. Despite their young age, they displayed remarkable steadfastness and devotion.🥀 When both Aun and Muhammad attained martyrdom, Sayyida Zainab (sa) bore the loss with extraordinary patience.
