You won’t truly understand what he’s saying unless you’ve actually found yourself in this situation. I recently came to understand it myself after years of being manipulated by her tears. She used to get angry at me because of how I reacted to her actions. Imagine someone being upset that you’re upset after they’ve been lying to you for months. Over time, I realized she wasn’t just upset about my reactions she was trying to control how I felt about certain things. It wasn’t just about the lies; it was about shaping my emotions to suit her narrative, to make me doubt myself, and to keep me under her influence. Being in situations like that teaches you to recognize emotional manipulation, to trust your own feelings, and to understand that someone else’s anger or tears shouldn’t dictate your reality.
