What is the lifespan of this type of furniture? I am so willing to buy it, but I know within time it can deteriorate based on the amount of weight that is in certain areas on the couch itself.

I have a cat and I wanted to ask if your cats have damaged the sofa. I’m asking because mine uses everything he sees as a scratching post, and I want to be careful with the material before buying it.
