When starch is refrigerated, you won't experience high sugar spikes.

The trick is fiber not protein. Eat some fiber before you consume ANY meal and you’ll see that your sugar doesn’t spike , my wife taught me that trick.

Add cinnamon to level out sugars from the oatmeal. The benefits of oats far outweigh anything else.

Which brand of monk fruit do you use? I used to buy one at Costco, but then I saw that it had erythritol and I stopped using it.

this looks lovely, but if you're not diabetic, blood sugar spikes are fine. People worry about this far too much. This is what insulin is for and as long as the spike goes down again fairly quickly, congratulations, you are healthy.

Hi. Did you learn about cooking rice, potatoes or pasta and cooling it afterwards to make the carbohydrates change into resistant starch - not all of them but I’ve learned it can transform around 60 % of the glucose. And one can heat it up again without loosing the starch. It would be so interesting if you wanted to test it out!
