This is why WWE has declined in recent years. Superstars have less freedom and the promos lose their authenticity. Everything feels so scripted and played out it’s rare get promos like this. Unpopular opinion I guess but this was great for their storyline.

Remember back in the day when wrestling was actually good and everybody did their own promos and there was no script. Great example of that would be Sean Michael’s “sunny days “to Bret Hart. Now everything is scripted down to the lines??
