One Hope. 💔This is the heartbreaking story of a young mother in Uganda, abandoned and left to face the unimaginable.She has two beautiful daughters — the eldest is 4 years old (Kauthara) and the youngest just 2.Both were born with the same painful and dangerous condition: an umbilical cord hernia.Their bellies are swollen. They struggle to breathe, to sleep, and to play like normal children. They both suffer from uncontrolled bowel movements, living each day in pain, shame, and discomfort.Their father, overwhelmed and ashamed of their condition, left them. He walked away, leaving this mother alone with two sick babies — no support, no help, and no hope. Now she lives with her own mother, barely surviving. She watches her babies cry and suffer every day, but there’s nothing she can do. The surgery they both need is possible — but completely out of reach.We met this family and were moved beyond words. And now, we are asking the world to see them. To care.
