@bakedbyguy: Turns out you can make cookies in an air fryer… and they’re insanely good. Chewy, gooey, salty sweet balance - ready in 8 minutes! Full recipe below 🍪 I used the Compact Max air fryer by @Cuisinart @Cuisinart Europe , the drawer is massive, so you can bake a whole tray at once. It’s also non-toxic, PFAS-free, and non-stick, which makes it ridiculously easy to clean too. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE RECIPE: (Makes around 12 cookies) Ingredients: * 140g unsalted butter, softened * 120g dark brown sugar * 120g caster sugar * 1 egg * 1 tsp vanilla extract * 1 tsp baking powder * ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda * ¾ tsp salt * 240g plain flour * 180g chopped chocolate (I use a mix of dark & milk) * Flaky salt for topping (optional) Method: 1. Cream butter and sugars for 1 minute. 2. Add egg and vanilla, mix until smooth. 3. Fold in flour, baking powder, bicarb, and salt. Then mix in the chocolate. 4. Scoop into 60g balls. I like to press a few extra chocolate chunks on top right before baking, then sprinkle with flaky salt. 6. Bake at 160°C in the air fryer for 8 minutes (On the bake setting). * From frozen: 150°C for 10 minutes. 7. Let cool completely before picking up , they firm up as they cool.
