@the_glitch_archive: 🔩🧪💧 An anvil… floating on mercury? Sounds impossible — but it’s real. Mercury’s insane density lets even heavy metal objects float like feathers. But why isn’t this widely known? What else don’t they tell us about this strange liquid metal? Time to look deeper. #AnvilOnMercury #MercuryMystery #HiddenPhysics #StrangeScience #UnusualFacts #TikTokThinkers #HeavyMetalFloat #ScienceThatShocks #ThinkDifferent #ForbiddenKnowledge #LiquidMetal #OpenYourMind #ElementalTruths #MysteryScience #WhatTheyDontTeachYou #TruthInPlainSight #RedPillScience #RealityCheck #ExploreTheUnknown #DeepThoughtZone #UnseenForces
This experiment doesn’t prove a flat earth. It also does not prove the absence of gravity. Yes it floats in mercury because density is a true principle. But neither float up into the air because of ….. wait for it… gravity!

Why do things fall through our air at basically the same speed if density is the reason for it falling? A heavy rock falls at the same speed as a baseball. Now put those two in water and they fall and dramatically different speeds. The denser the object is, the faster it sinks in water. Not true for falling through our gas atmosphere. Why? Why don’t more dense objects fall at a faster pace?????

Buoyancy requires gravity. Density is not a directional force - what directional force are you implying is at work?

Gravity isn't real. The letter g in the equation for buoyancy is just a placeholder. It is only a number. 9.8m/s^2. Forces are measured in Newton's, so it cannot be classed as a force. In fact, it is completely indistinguishable from acceleration. Do we say that acceleration is a force? No. It is just a rate of change.

Am I the only one wondering where he’s getting this large amount of mercury?

"Gravity and density are distinct concepts, though related. Gravity is a force of attraction between objects with mass, while density is a measure of how much mass is packed into a given volume. Density influences how gravity affects an object, with denser objects experiencing a stronger gravitational pull. "

Without gravity, how do more dense objects know which way to fall? Why not up, or sideways?

Eagle1776 :
Density does not equal gravity. These density experiments work with liquid because everything is being pulled towards the largest mass, in this case, the earth. Mercury is more dense than iron, therefore mercury, being a liquid, forces its way past the anvil as the earths gravity pulls it. That applies to all objects including the gases that make up our atmosphere.

if density is why we stay grounded clouds should not exist because they are made of water which is denser then air so they shouldn't exist
