August 28, 2022 Keshawn Thomas, 27 was shot and killed by the Albuquerque police department not ….Nevada…. Ultimately his family was awarded $1 million. As a settlement. Officer Kenneth Skeens was fired not for this but another incident later.

Very poor training of these officers. Never let a suspect of anything back in his car and give him that much space. Guy was jonesing with his hands and body movement telling u something ain’t right.

He did tell them he had a weapon at that time they should of apprehended the weapon before they let him go to his car this could of been avoided he wasn’t really being aggressive so IDK could’ve been handled differently 🤨

it's just amazing how they allowed him to walk back to the car to get a gun ... if he was "A THREAT" to them he would been in handcuffs but no he was able to walk back to his car to grab a gun.... 🤔🧐
