Salmon Piccata with Lemon Butter Sauce. Ingredients: - 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each) - Salt and black pepper, to taste - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 2 tablespoons butter - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth - 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice - 1 tablespoon capers, drained - 1 teaspoon lemon zest - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped - Lemon slices, for garnish Directions: 1. Season the salmon fillets with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside. 3. In the same skillet, melt the butter.
