I soft DNF’s Zodiac Academy after the first book. It was my own issue. The whole lack of consent thing and the S.A. was too much for me.

Zodiac Academy is fine if you skim read through characters you don’t care about (Darcy, Tory, Lance) unless there’s been a plot development immediately proceeding it, and instead focus on the joy of reading Seth and Gerry’s POV, with a side of Max and Caleb. Oh and Xavier, his chapters are actual gold

There were so many times from ZA that I had to walk away and come back or really power through. The last few books were emotional damage and repetition and I finished them out of spite.

I haven’t read zodiac academy yet. But people either love them or hate them it seems. I’ve also heard from so many people that the last couple books aren’t as good and drawn out. Once I get over my reading fatigue (read an 18 book series). I might read them finally.

I read Lolita in college, and it was such an uncomfortable read, but my goodness is it powerful. I actually really want to reread it as I am such a different person than I was 20 years ago and I'm curious how I'll react to it now.
