Don’t understand why you can’t just upgrade the header

Upgrade the header to lvls double 9 1/4 add new trimmers. Cut the nailing fin on the old window and install a replacement from the inside. What’s the problem?

Just upgrade the header. It’s basic as it gets. If you’re worried about getting the same size glass, put in a steel header. Why is this so complicated?

Pull out the header installl a LVL header for double jack studs on each side. Put whatever window you want in as long as you have a 1/2 inch gap all the way around the window and shims only on the sides and bottom.

Install temporary ceiling bracing on the inside. Pull out all of the windows and the header material. Install a Parallam header, make sure you have Jack studs and then install a all aluminum picture window.

Why are we not just upgrading the header to multiple LVLs or a PSL? There’s a ton of header options and they’re all cheaper than a brand new massive window

use quarter inch angel iron to reinforce the structure to reinforce your overhead structure and install steel framed windows to reinforce it further

Re-square the header and brace with angle iron. Use single metal pole in middle and split to two windows if you have to.

Just use the structural mortar you used in another-one of your videos to "secure" a toilet from rocking & moving. That should help you! It's right next to the structural drywall, the sky-hook and the toe-nails at the hardware store 😂
