When you’re a teacher, the students ask you some rather specific questions about yourself. Once a high school boy asked me if my hair was naturally that color. It was about 95% natural, and my response was “Pretty much.” He loved that answer because it sort of showed him the oddness of the question yet gave him a decent answer. He gave a brief laugh 😆 Kids are creative. They don’t communicate just packets of information. They are really looking for attention, connection and creative ways of engaging an audience. The meaning of specific words isn’t as important to them as just engaging an audience and trying out new words and ways of connecting with others.
