I mean sure but any major life adjustment is gonna be just that and adjustment. It may be hard or awkward but in the end you chose to give someone the love and energy they should have had from the start but couldn’t for one reason or another. You will have given them the opportunity to have family. I would prefer to adopt the older kids that might be going out of the system. Those in foster or orphanages sometimes don’t do well once they’re out of the system. Some even go into Gangs, Cartels, become addicts.

as someone who’s adopted, the first while it just like building a relationship then like establishing rules and boundary’s , that or you become a sweat shop worker/get neglected for the cash grab

Kids are life-changing especially if you're committed. so yea it would feel odd/strange and going it solo is another challenge

they're basically roommates all the time but they don't know anything so you just teach them stuff until they become better roommates and you just chill together vibing. even better if they didn't have anyone in their corner beforehand. 😀👍
