@maddyswain: 📍 Ταβέρνα ο γέρος του Μωριά Taverna O Geros tou Moria If you find yourself wandering through the adorable Plaka neighborhood in Athens (right at the base of the Acropolis) you have to eat at Taverna O Geros tou Moria. The food felt like someone’s yia-yia had been making it for generations. We had this wild cube of pasta that looked like Greek lasagna (pastitsio, I think?) and these crispy little cheese balls that I still dream about. There was a guy playing guitar across the alley, and the whole atmosphere was just magic. 10/10 recommend.
