@hennacaravan: Mixing up a beautiful big bowl of jamila brand henna powder from the summer 2025 harvest. I’m so excited to meet her and get to know her specific attributes. The weather variations, heat, rain and flooding all determine if a crop is high dye content, creamy or stringy. This bowl needs more lemon juice, some mixing to completely incorporate all ingredients then itll be hand strained to remove an itty bitty pieces of plant material and then poured into cones, sealed and frozen. Here is how I made these! Ingredients Beef • 1 lb ground beef • 1 onion, chopped • Salt, to taste • Pepper, to taste • Garlic powder, to taste Sauce • 1/2 cup mayo • 2 tbs ketchup • 2 tbs mustard • 2 tbs pickle juice • Salt, to taste • Pepper, to taste For Assembly • Pickles • Tomato, chopped • Lettuce, shredded • American cheese slices • Large tortillas • Tostada shells Instructions In a skillet over medium heat brown the beef. Remove the beef with a slotted spoon leaving behind the grease. Add the onions and cook for about 10 minutes or until golden. Add the beef back to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and cook for 1 more minute while mixing. Set aside. In a bowl combine the mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well. To assemble, place 1 slice of American cheese in the center of a tortilla and top with a scoop of beef mixture. Add another slice of cheese, then layer on lettuce, tomato and pickles. Place a tostada shell on top and add one more slice of cheese. Fold the tortilla edges toward the center to form a crunchwrap. The cheese in the center helps hold it together as it cooks. Toast the wrap cheese side down in a skillet over medium heat until golden, flip, and cook the other side until crisp. Serve with sauce.
