@postureguy: Sitting for extended periods causes the muscles at the front of your hips—your hip flexors—to become tight and shortened. At the same time, the glutes in the back grow weak and overstretched. This imbalance causes your pelvis to tilt forward into what’s called an anterior pelvic tilt, which throws off your posture and alignment from the ground up. One way to help reverse this is with the Air Bench exercise.
Find a sturdy wall and wear shoes so your feet don’t slip. Walk your feet forward so your knees are at a 90° angle—or even a bit higher if that’s more comfortable. Keep your knees about a fist-width apart to prevent compensation. Tuck your pelvis under and flatten your lower back into the wall. Distribute your weight evenly into your heels, and press your lower back against the wall as if you're pushing through your heels. Let your upper body relax, take deep breaths into your belly, and rest your hands on your thighs with your palms facing up. This strengthens postural muscles and helps reposition the pelvis into a more neutral, upright alignment. ✅ Want the full routine?

Lol so weird how sitting too long gets you like that, but doing an exercise that is in a sitting stance per say will fix it.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for some advice. For a long time, I've been dealing with pelvic symptoms. I sometimes have clear urethral discharge, pelvic discomfort, and urinary symptoms. I've had medical tests done, and no infection or significant inflammation was found. Because of that, I'm wondering if my symptoms could be related to a tight or overactive pelvic floor. I'm also a very anxious and nervous person, and I've heard that stress can make pelvic floor tension worse. Has anyone experienced something similar? Did pelvic floor physical therapy, stretching, relaxation techniques, exercise, or anything else help? I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thank you.

Definitely going to do this. I’ve had lower back pain for a couple of years. Couldn’t find relief with doctors, chiropractors, physical therapist or acupuncture. I believe it’s tight hip flexors. Thanks.

Sitting for extended hours definitely causes so many issues, especially weakened glutes. I love doing glute bridges to help strengthen the glutes. I like how you showed an isometric exercise that will help to strengthen the joints.

I’m a CNA and I discovered tight flexors just randomly when I was sitting down. When I was laying down I felt it throbbing like a heart beat
