What are your thoughts? 💭 Slather on & dousing ourselves with unknown substances/unfamiliar ingredients - has become an everyday norm of life. Just because something is common, doesn’t make it right. And certainly not healthy. Our everyday protocols, routines, regiments - can be one of the most impactful ways to reject what doesn’t belong & invite what does. For our health, the health of our families, this sacred Earth & all its beings. And the great news is, we’re already making strides in this space. Because of you. I SWAP: •Synthetic perfume/fragrances/body mists for -> homemade/bought organic oil roll ons, rose water from places like @herban.veda @mountainroseherbs •Most makeup brands for -> organic/natural/non-toxic brands @aunaturalelife @wellpeople @merit @rmsbeauty @iliabeauty •Conventional oral care for -> @uncle_harrys stainless steel tongue scrapers @brushwithbamboo @livinglibationsofficial water picks & ozonated products •Plastic razors for -> quality metal reusables like @leafshave •Plastic loofahs for -> natural loofah scrubbers •Conventional hair products for -> simple organic DIY products (check my videos for hair mists, hair/scalp rinse, & natural gel), organic hair oils, scalp massages/daily brushes, organic products from companies like @johnmastersorganics @johnmastersorganics @chagrinvalleysoap •Nail polish for -> bare nails •Much of bodycare products for -> Shae butter & organic oils @embodybee •Plastic undergarments with neon colors/heavy dyes for -> organic intimates @brookthere (check my organic undergarments reel for the full breakdown of brands I love!) •Deodorant/Antiperspirant (I’m talking to you full body deodorant) for -> none these days! When I did I used @pranarom_usa •Nearly all period products for -> free bleeding into thick cotton pants, onto dark towels, organic reusable pads & organic single use pads •Single use cotton rounds for -> LastRound @lastobject & cotton towels By making these swaps & many more; I not only save money, but I feel healthier on every front 🤲🏽 #fyp
