They also surcharge if it rains, surcharge if the subways go down and everyone leaves at once, surcharge if there is a security issue and people are trying to leave a location quickly. There business model is built on exploiting there employees and customers. And it’s working.

I’m an uber driver and within the last six months uber has been hyper aware of my battery levels. They put a banner on my uber app and send me push notifications with my battery levels. Uber is slimy I wouldn’t put it past them!
