North Texas also has to stop lying about what’s considered a suburb of Dallas. At this point Prosper is a suburb of Frisco/Plano. An hour drive from Dallas is no longer a suburb.

It’s white flight. They just won’t outright say they’re ray-cyst. We used to live in Celina right above the city limit line of Prosper but couldn’t afford rent there anymore so that’s why we moved.

Prosper here. While I appreciate your take - this is not the reason people are leaving. Plenty of night life and kids activities here! Unfortunately the demographics have changed thus causing a lot of OG residents to move.

Holy racism in these comments. What is wrong with Indian families moving in? I live in the Minneapolis suburbs and many suburbs have lots of Indian families and no one bats an eye. Even in the most affluent suburbs, people aren’t “moving away because of Indian families moving in”…

It’s bigotry. It happens in Argyle too. They move to get away from diversity and then have to move again when people they deem less worthy find their communities. And their school district isn’t unique or wonderful. It’s just wealthy. School ratings are only a measurement of poverty and race.

I am trying to sell my house in Frisco-literally everywhere building but nobody is coming to look at my house! I will say that having lived here 20 years, it is not the same Frisco/Prosper it was 20 years ago. We have lost who we were!
