I've watched this from the back of the church the pastors look around to judge the response. When that response isn't enough he will repeat " every head bowed every eye closed" then ask a cold read question and ask for a show of hands. It doesn't matter if he gets a response he will pretend he did saying "I see some of you over here and over there " this is to make you feel as if you should be feeling shame for what ever you've done because those others had the courage to admit it. Church is a scam led by con artist.

yes! I read this book called The God Virus and it talks about manipulating people with music. it's all psychological it's messed up😳

I'm a Christian and I notice the manipulation and don't like it. No matter what church you go to one can always tell when they're about to collect tithing/offering or have an alter call. I do feel like there's a lot of emotional manipulation and it bothers me. Again, don't come for me! I'm a believer.

Had a preacher instructed us to ‘close our eyes, bow our heads, and raise your hand if you accept Jesus today’. I was in the sound booth with eyes wide open. No hands raised, he would say “hands are going up” and it would “encourage” the others.

I used to play in church...But I stopped because it was fake..Some of the praise team members will even go to stage drunk and start singing then start speaking in tounges..But the congregation thought they were filled with a holy spirit....then the music will get very loud.....But the saints still don't believe most pastors and and church singers go to the stage drunk...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Plot twist: Everyone knows this and it’s part of the experience. It doesn’t make it any less powerful or spiritual because music is playing. I can be moved in this way by a pastor speaking truth without any music at all.

I remember that moment when it dawned on me that I felt the same thing at church that I felt at concerts or sporting events...and then the church started condemning those concerts and sporting events.... cause they wanted the monopoly on emotional manipulation.
