i really wish that true beauty went more in depth in Jukyung’s character development. Her bullying and trauma was not talked about enough which makes me so upset. I feel like true beauty went so downhill once the author focused heavily on the romance instead of Jukyung’s story & character maturing.. The kdrama is still cute though but i really wish the drama didn’t brush past the fact that she almost att3mpted. Her character speaks volume for every teenagers; how majority of teens wear makeup/were bullied for their looks and her writing had so much potential but sadly Jukyung is only known for her two main love interests and not HER STORY. Jukyung’s character in general had so much potential and speaking out more about girls who suffer because of bullying, insecurities, etc. But sadly her entire character was just based around the fact that she wore makeup and liked two guys in highschool 😕
